I never received my login information for the webinar. What should I do?

What are the different format options for webinars?

Live Only: This option will allow you to attend a live webinar, online as it’s happening. You’ll be able to ask questions and watch the webinar in real-time. You’ll need a reliable web connection and a phone line (or a sound card and speakers to listen over the web). This option does not include a recording of the webinar to watch later.

Recording Only: This option will provide you an MP4 (audio + video) recording of a webinar. You will not be able to ask questions, but you will be able to hear the questions and answer session that was conducted during the live session. You will also be able to watch it as many times as you would like and share it with others inside your organization. The recording will include a link to handouts, which is usually a copy of the slides used in the presentation.

Live + Recording: This option includes everything in both the “Live Only” and “Recording Only” sessions above.

Event Value Pack: This option includes everything in the “Live + Recording” option plus an audio-only MP3 recording so that you can listen to the webinar in a standard CD player (if you select Hard Copy) or MP3 player (if you select either Hard Copy or Digital Download). This is our most popular option because customers enjoy the flexibility of both asking questions during the live session and also watching the webinar again and sharing it with others with the flexibility of using the MP4 (audio + video) or the MP3 (audio only).

Can my employee/coworker/boss/friend watch the webinar too?

Yes, IF you can watch together on the same computer. If others need to access the webinar from separate computers, or in a different location, you will need to purchase additional Live Event seats. Each Live webinar seat is for 1 internet connection. The link you receive from us to attend the webinar will only allow 1 computer to enter the webinar. If you share your login information with someone else and they join the webinar before you, your link will not work when you try to join the webinar. The majority of our customers attend our webinars in a conference room with coworkers using one computer and a speaker phone. If you would like to purchase multiple seats at a live event so that others may watch from their own computers, we do have bulk discounts available. Please contact us here for details.

Will I need any special software to attend a live webinar?

We use Adobe Connect Meetings for all of our live webinars. Please click here to test your system. If your company has strict firewalls or restricts downloading temporary files, please contact your IT department few days before the webinar to ensure you’ll be able to join the session.

When will my order arrive?

If you selected “Hard copy by mail”
Orders for a recording of an upcoming webinar ship approximately 1 week after the live event. If you ordered a recording of a past webinar, or any other product, your order will ship within 1 week of your order date. If you placed your order more than 2 weeks ago (or if it has been more than 2 weeks since the live event that you ordered a recording of) and have not yet received your products, please contact us. If you selected “Digital download”
Digital Downloads of recordings for upcoming webinars will be available approximately 2 business days after the live event. Digital downloads for recordings of past webinars, or any other product, will be available immediately. You should receive an email with instructions for accessing your digital products within 1 hour of your order. If you placed your order more than 2 business days ago (or if it has been more than 2 business days since the live event you ordered a recording of), please check your spam or junk folders for an email from noreply@sendowl.com or contact us. I’m placing an order for a Live Webinar, but someone else (or a group of us) will be attending. Whose name should I use?

When you buy a seat for a live webinar, our website will ask, “Who should receive the webinar connection instructions?” Please enter the name and email of the person who will be joining the webinar. If you will be attending as a group, enter the name and email address of the person whose computer you will be using. During the checkout process, you can use your own name and email address so that the receipt will come to you.

Will my webinar recording include the slides?

Yes! Any purchase of a recorded webinar will include a link to a copy of the slides and/or supplemental material.

Are your programs available in Spanish?

No, at this time our webinars and training products are only available in English.

How can I get HRCI or SHRM credits?

Many of our HR-focused live webinars (and some of our webinar recordings) are approved for HRCI and SHRM credits. To receive credit from SHRM or HRCI for attending one of our approved sessions, please email us for a certificate of completion. We will verify your attendance and send you a certificate of completion. You can use the certificate to report your participation in our programs to HRCI and SHRM. I missed a webinar that I wanted to attend. When will you be holding it again?

The fastest way to gain access to one of our past webinars is to order a recording and select the Digital download option. Many of our webinars are offered several times a year based on demand, seasonality of the topic and availability of expert speakers.

What is the special offer/discount code?

The “special offer/discount code” field on our order form is for customers that have received a discount code from us for a bulk order or promotional sale. If you have not received a discount code from us, please leave this area blank.

Can I upload your programs to my LMS?

While our programs can be uploaded to an LMS, there is an additional fee to do so. Please contact us click here to request a price quote. The additional fee includes adding SCORM functionality to the program so that you will be able to use all of your LMS tracking features.
