When Colleagues Clash: Conflict Resolution Best-Practices

Duration: 60 minutes

In this session, you will learn:

  • How to evaluate a conflict: Can it be resolved with only those involved or will you need additional support?
  • The key steps to reducing escalation during conflict & move towards resolution
  • The role emotional intelligence plays in conflict
  • Discover and utilize a link between emotions and capacity to resolve conflict

By some estimates, more than 65% of performance issues are rooted in unresolved workplace conflict. Many employees report that conflict is the single most stressful part of their job. And the cost is staggering. Interpersonal clashes hurt retention, sideline projects and decrease morale for the entire workforce, not just those having the conflict.

Dealing successfully with conflict keeps your people focused on priorities, lowers costs and promotes a thriving and productive workplace. The good news is that YOU can play a critical role in reducing conflict and improving the climate at your company.

In this webinar, corporate mediation expert Tom Esch provides power tools you can use to successfully manage clashes between colleagues. He will teach you how to effectively diffuse arguments and prevent future conflicts before they start.
